Fixed Skylights

Flat or domed fixed skylights bring permanent natural daylight into hallways, bathrooms, and living areas that can't be easily window-lit. Available in polycarbonate and glass glazing options.

Operable Skylights

Manually or electrically operated skylights that open for ventilation as well as light. A popular choice for kitchens and living areas — adds light, allows hot air to escape, and brings in fresh breeze.

Solatube® Tubular Skylights

Sun tunnels that pipe daylight through a reflective tube into rooms with no direct roof access — ideal for interior bathrooms, hallways, and rooms under an upper storey. Minimal structural impact.

Whirlybird Ventilators (300mm)

Wind-powered rotary ventilators that continuously expel hot air from your roof cavity without electricity. One 300mm unit ventilates approximately 50–60m² of roof space. Colorbond® colour-matched options available.

Whirlybird Ventilators (400mm)

Larger diameter ventilators for homes with a bigger roof cavity or higher heat loads. Ideal for large single-storey homes, workshops, sheds, and commercial properties across South East Queensland.

Skylight Replacement

Old, cracked, or UV-yellowed skylight domes are replaced with modern polycarbonate or glass units — dramatically improving light output and eliminating leaks from failed flashing on aged units.

A 300mm Whirlybird ventilates approximately 50–60m² of roof space. A standard 200m² Queensland home would benefit from 3–4 units. We assess your specific roof space and cavity volume and advise on the optimal number and placement for your property.

Yes — Whirlybirds can be installed on any roof type. Tile roofs require a dedicated tile-entry flashing kit, while Colorbond roofs use a custom square-base flashing. Every installation is completely weathertight — no leaks, guaranteed.

Quality Whirlybirds with sealed bearings are virtually silent. Older or cheaper units can squeak once the bearings dry out — if you have a noisy Whirlybird, we can replace the bearing or the whole unit. It's a quick and affordable fix.
